APPROVAL OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY AND TAKE STOCK IN CHILDREN
Description
This lease grants access by the Take Stock in Children staff to a classroom size space at Booker Middle School, to be used as office space by the Take Stock in Children staff. Enrollment projections for Booker Middle School suggest the lease will not impact the instructional program at the school. Monthly rent is set to recoup the Board's costs of utilities. Take Stock in Children is actively involved in mentorship activities at Booker Middle School so the location is a win-win for the organization and the students in our District.
Recommendation
That the Board approve the lease agreement between the School Board of Sarasota County and Take Stock in Children as presented.
